Admissions

Interested individuals are encouraged to visit our school to both see the facilities and to discuss their specific career interests. Please contact us to arrange for a tour.

Audio in Media

  • Application Requirements:
  • Applicants must have high school graduation with most recent transcripts, and be at least 18 years of age.
  • A 300-word essay detailing your interests, goals, experience, and inspiration regarding your chosen career.
  • Most current resume with cover-letter.
  • All applicants require a personal interview with the head administrator either in person or on the phone.
  • Music and or recording experience is strongly recommended.
  • A personality suited for an extremely challenging career and the ability to work well with others.
  • Tuition Information:

Total tuition for the Audio in Media programme is $9,700.00 CAD (materials included). Due to our limited class size and high application intake of our programme; upon acceptance, students are required to submit a $1,000.00 CAD instalment to confirm their seat; this amount includes a $100.00 CAD non-refundable registration fee. The instalment amount is deducted from the total tuition. The remaining amount of $8,700.00 CAD is due on the first day of classes. Students are required to contact our admissions office regarding financial planning for tuition funding (Self-funded, Canada Student Loans, RESPs, Third party funding, Band funding etc.).

  • Enrolment Procedure:
  • Applicant completes an application package for the Audio in Media programme. Please note applications are reviewed on an on-going basis.
  • After review of the application, a letter is mailed to the applicant to schedule an interview.
  • Following the interview, the applicant will be notified by mail regarding the status of their application.
  • Upon acceptance, the future student is required to submit a $1,000.00 CAD instalment to confirm their seat.
  • After the instalment has been submitted, the student is required to contact our admissions office regarding financial planning for tuition funding (Self-funded, Canada Student Loans, RESPs, Third party funding, Band funding etc.).

Part-Time

Intro to MTR | Intro to ProTools | Music with Reason
  • Admission Requirements:
  • No interview required
  • Intro To Multi-Track Recording - No experience required
  • Inro to Pro Tools - Previous experience recommended
  • Music with Reason - A strong musical interest recommended
  • The ability to work well with others
  • Tuition Information:

The total tuition is $795.00 CAD all inclusive. An instalment of $250.00 is required in order to reserve your seat with the remaining balance of $545.00 due on or before the first class.

  • Enrolment Procedure:
  • Interested individual completes the appropriate registration form and submits to our administration office with required $250.00 instalment. Please contact us or check start dates on our website for course availability.
  • Upon reception of completed registration form and instalment a seat will be reserved.
  • +Refund Policy
    Course Withdrawal & Refunds: Fee refunds will only be issued if a course withdrawal request is received at least seven (7) working days prior to the date of course commencement. A $50 administration fee will be charged Regardless. No refunds will be issued for withdrawal requests received after this time. No refunds will be issued on tuition balance after the fourth (4th) class.

    Course Transfers: Students wishing to transfer to a future start date of the same course will be accepted if a request is received at least seven (7) working days prior to the date of course commencement, and providing a suitable future course offering is available. If no future course offering is available the Course Withdrawal & Refund policy is in effect.

    Course Cancellation by the Institute: Where a course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

    Processing of refunds takes a minimum of thirty (30) working days. All refunds will be made directly to the payee by cheque, and will be mailed to the payee’s address as shown on the application form.
