Interested individuals can submit application/registration forms via mail, e-mail or fax. Alternatively, applications can be dropped off in person at our administration office.

Audio in Media

Tuition Information »

Tuition for the Audio in Media programme is $19,900.00; this includes books & supplies.

Mid-Ocean School of Media Arts is a registered Private Vocational Institution under The Private Vocational Institutions Act; as such, students are eligible for funding options to assist with their educational training. Please contact our admissions office if you require assistance or have questions regarding financial planning.

    • Applicant must have high school graduation or high school equivalent (GED), and must be 18 years of age by programme start date.
    • Complete the Audio in Media Application Form.
    • Provide an original of most recent educational transcript.
    • A 300-word essay describing your interest in audio, future goals, experiences, and why you chose this career.
    • An interview with a MOSMA Administrator.
    • International applicants must ensure results have been received by MOSMA Admissions from their chosen English proficiency test provider: IELTS or TOEFL. See: MOSMA International Students Page for details.
    • Due to our focused class sizes; we encourage early application. Applications can be submitted prior to funding confirmation. Please contact Admissions for more information.

      • Ensure all required documents listed above are included. International applicants must confirm English proficiency results have been received by Admissions.
      • Submit your application package to Admissions by mail or email your application to admissions@midoceanschool.ca. There is no fee to apply to the Audio in Media programme.
      • Once your application package is reviewed, Admissions will contact you via email to schedule an interview. Ensure your email is clear on the application form and check your email regularly and reply in a timely manner.
      • Within 2 weeks of your interview you will receive an electronic letter by email regarding status of your application. If you have not received an email within this time, please contact Admissions.
      • If Accepted: a seat will be held for 10 business days from the acceptance date pending your Registration payment.
      • Registration: you must submit $500.00 CAD within 10 business days from the acceptance date, this amount is deducted from the total tuition and includes a $225.00 non-refundable/non-transferable administration fee. If registration is not submitted within this time, the seat opens to other accepted applicants. You may still register if space is available.
      • Once Registered: your tuition balance is due within 45 days from the Registration date unless you are seeking third-party funding in which case proof of funding is required. You must inform Admissions for considerations to the deadline. *International students are considered “self-funded” and should be prepared to submit full tuition within this timeline.
      • COE (Confirmation of Enrolment): is established once your registration has been paid and funding plans have been communicated.
      • Due to high application intake and limited seats available; funding must be established no less than 30 days prior to the start date, otherwise you will be placed on wait-list and moved to the next intake or until funding is confirmed.
      • You are required to inform Admissions if you are seeking third party funding such as: Government funded Student Aid, Sponsorship by an Indigenous Organisation, MB Employment & Training Services or other third party funding resources.
